How fun is this?! I am making one for each of the boys' rooms. Can you say addicted? Ok, now I MUST get my photoshopping done for paying clients!

A friend of mine asked me if I did this stuff and I said I didn't, but it looks fun. All I can say is new addiction. I have so many different versions of the one above and endless possibilities whirling around madly in my head. I am even thinking about printing these out, putting them in a cool frame and selling them...not to mention customizing them for people - think family proclamation, primary songs, playroom rules, favorite quotes...endless I tell you. Fun huh?!

Puppet Friends

Craft O' The Day at the Fullers. Thanks again, Grandma, for all the summer fun! As I write this, the boys and their puppets are having a dance party to the Bee Gees. Creativity at its finest, my friends!

Fling-a-Ring-Thing

Another fun craft a-la-Grandma. These babies fly far and if you take the little ring just off center, they spin like a torpedo. The boys are busy little fighter pilots today!

Flying Friends

My cute mom always puts fun things together for the kids. This is one of many to come in the next month or so. The boys chose to make "flying friends" with pipe cleaners and paper. I was a little surprised they stuck to the original butterfly model and I have a feeling with the remaining materials we will see more things like snakes, dragonflies, and scorpions - ya know, boy stuff. You will notice there are sadly no pictures of the boys enjoying this craft, because they ran out the door to play with waterguns as soon as they were done. Nevertheless, they said, "Thanks, Mom (and Grandma)! That was AWESOME!"

A little side note I have to mention - last night the boys were naughty and wouldn't settle into bed, so I took away the privilege of doing the craft today and said they could earn it back by doing work for me in the morning. So bright and early, sweet Luke woke up and emptied the dishwasher, tidied his room, and read for half an hour. He came into our room before 8am and asked if he had earned back the craft. He sure did.

But the boys are happy, we are having fun and I love these faces. Lots and lots of updates to come.....eventually!

Preschool Buddies

Friday was the end-of-school program and I snapped this of Harry with his two best buddies in the world. He had a FANTASTIC year and he is SO excited about starting kindergarten!

Snow Canyon Kiddos

Eventually, I will get caught up on this blog, but I just fell in love with this picture while I was going through my stuff preparing to shoot a wedding tomorrow. Had to share my sweet big boys. They are growing up so fast. This was such a pleasant hike on a pleasant St. George day in early April.

DIG DEEPER....

For two weeks, Jon, his brother Steve, and I have been digging deeper with Shaun T. and the Insanity gang. As a former collegiate athlete, I should have been disciplined enough to stay in shape all these years. But the fact of the matter is Jon and I were probably in the worst shape of our marriage going into this intense workout schedule. I didn't even take before pictures because I didn't want them ever to be seen by anyone! Going into our third week, I feel like this is the perfect thing for me right now. I need this. It motivates me to accomplish so many other things on my plate, and I am feeling addicted to working out for the first time in years.

There are a TON of great exercise programs, nutrition plans, diets, cleanses etc....out there, but everyone needs to find what works for them. We are really focusing on the food, and fueling our bodies this week, while we burn close to 800 calories in a workout. It feels good to be changing our bodies and our attitudes about ourselves. It's HARD, but it's fun and rewarding, and I actually look forward to it everyday. Perhaps I will at some point, I will post an "after" picture here on the blog - perhaps.
