Cheyenne Frontier Days-
"Daddy of 'em All, Largest Outdoor Rodeo and Western Celebration in the World."
Yep, we were there.
We didn't make it to all the festivities, but we did make it to the parade and the Indian Village.
We didn't make it to all the festivities, but we did make it to the parade and the Indian Village. A huge thanks to our friends who live in Cheyenne, Tucker and Julie. They were super hospitable and set up their guest room as "Spa Brown" for us, complete with fresh towels and bottled water. Our kids had a blast together and when it came time to leave, the boys were very sad to go.
Here are some pictures of the parade - I do love small towns when the people in parade actually talk to you as they ride by, "Howdy, havin' a good time?" etc... And the Indian Chief stopped and gave the boys each one wooden nickel. They thought that was pretty cool.
Harry wasn't so sure about putting dead animals on his head.
Or about going inside a tee-pee.But he's always happy looking through his eagle-eye "noculars."
Luke flashed a quick happy smile.
Luke and Kashli were often spotted holding hands on this trip...
