Good Movie

Jon and I aren't the best at getting out and doing "date night" and more often than not when we actually get out and go, we pick the lamest movies. Once, it was "You got Served" and we have seen all three "Fast and the Furious" films in the theater. (Jon even owns them - yes it's true.)

Last night was a different story for us. My mom and dad watched he boys (thanks!!!) for us and while we were packing up to go, they asked us what we were going to. We weren't really sure, Ironman was a possibility, but we wanted a dollar flick. So maybe "Run Fatboy Run." I hadn't heard anything about it. "Happy Valley" looks too depressing for us who go to the movies like four times a year. My mom suggested Vantage Point and I said, "Nah, we don't want to see that, it looks like Groundhog Day with a murder." My mom's friend Donna piped up that she loved it and my folks agreed. OK, we'll take a recommendation. So that's what we went to.

There certainly was a repetition to the madness, but each story added another piece and if you stick with it, it gets really good. Good movie. Go see it at Movies 8, or just rent it in a month if you don't want to sit on rock hard movie seats!

The seats aren't soft, but the theater is clean, people are friendly and the price is right... so Hooray for the University Mall theaters!

Glad you enjoyed the movie.

We saw this movie at the dollar theater in Sandy. I can't say that the theater here is clean, but it is a good, cheap date night. We go about once every couple of weeks. I thought the movie was worth $3.00 (it's $1.50 each now).

Nothing is as good as the Too Fast Too Furious flicks...
